Held during National Mentoring Month, International Mentoring Day began in 2017 and marks the anniversary of legendary boxer Mohammed Ali's birth, January 17, 1942. The event is promoted by the National Mentoring Partnership and it celebrates mentoring - one of the most important, if not the most important forms of education.
Mentors help protégés with learning, navigating daily life, business, politics and the future. It’s a form of knowledge transfer from one generation to the next.
